13. Phyllangia americana
Phyllangia americana is a small coral, with calices measuring, on average, 6 to 7 mm in diameter and 3 to 4 mm in height, but reaching 10 mm in diameter. The live colony is reddish brown. |

Phyllangia americana is endemic to Brazil, and has affinities with Caribbean fauna. It has been observed on the coast of Ceará, Pernambuco and Rio de Janeiro states in shady places. |
