4. Stylaster roseus
According to the description given by Hetzel and Castro (1994) Stylaster roseus forms small colonies with maximum dimensions of 7 cm in height and 11 cm in width. It presents branches with a saw like aspect.

It is common, at various depths, in protected places. Its ocurrence has been registered on the islands of the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago, and along the coast from Pernumbuco state to Bahia.
